Meet Your Hosts We’re Luk, Sean, and our beloved Marek (Simon), who may no longer be with us in person, but his spirit is in every corner of Seascape Horizon – especially the kitchen, where he ruled with love, loud music, and a wooden spoon that doubled as a microphone. Marek was the heart of Seascape Horizon: a whirlwind of warmth, humour, stubborn opinions about tea brands, and a devotion to hospitality that made every guest feel like royalty—whether they wanted to or not. He had a flair for entertaining, loved a bit of drink and a good dance, and wore the kind of apron that probably shouldn’t be shown to children. Marek was born on the 2nd of January 1981 and left us far too soon in September 2024. But here, his laughter still echoes, his love still lingers, and every sunset over the sea carries a little bit of him with it. Lukasz and Marek found this little gem in 2016, dreaming of a peaceful seaside escape. Luk (that’s me) was always the serious one—business head on, heart open, quietly making sure things ran smoothly while Marek made the mess and the magic. Sean joined our slightly mad little family in 2022, bringing even more love, a gentle spirit, and—once you get past the shy smile—a cheeky sense of humour and questionable deck chair choices. We’ve shared our hearts with five beautiful dogs – Coco and Impi, who now watch over us from the stars, and our current trio of chaos: Bella (queen bee and sofa hog), Marni (resident snuggle monster), and Toshi (small but surprisingly naughty). This isn’t just a holiday spot – it’s a piece of our story, and we’re so happy to share it with you.
