Northdene Cottage is a detached, double fronted old fisherman's cottage, full of character and charm and less than one minute's walk from the sea, in the beautiful seaside town of Deal. Built in the 1880s, the two bedroom cottage is beautifully decorated throughout, with rich F&B colours and vintage furniture combined with lovely little touches in every room, creating a stylish and comfortable home. Northdene Cottage sleeps four people, with one king sized bedroom and one double. **PLEASE NOTE - It is important to note that as with many of the older properties in this area, the staircase of this house is very steep and narrow, so caution is advised for those less mobile. Small children will also need to hold on tight!** There is a very sunny, secluded walled garden and a free dedicated private parking space to the rear of the property, with direct access through the back garden if required. Alternatively there is plenty of free onstreet parking directly outside the front of the house. There is superfast fibre optic broadband throughout the house and garden, suitable for home working and video calls, along with a large dining table for WFH. The kitchen has a washing machine and a gas hob. It is stocked with essentials including milk, fresh coffee, tea, sugar, porridge oats and granola. The walled courtyard garden is filled with lovely greenery, including olive trees and vines, a small grassy lawn, and is a real suntrap in the afternoon and early evening. It has a relaxed seating area and a separate dining table and chairs. The garden is strung with mains-powered festoon lights. The large bathroom has a beautiful freestanding roll top bath, and a separate shower which has an overhead rain showerhead and an adjustable height head on a rail. Bathroom essentials are supplied. Towels and linen are provided, including hammam beach towels. The cottage has central heating throughout, with a wood burning stove in the living room (in use November to March).
