Full of character, the 17th-century Chequers Inn has an award-winning restaurant and a large garden. The elegant bedrooms have Freeview TV and antique pine furniture. With oak beams, and wooden floors, the original bar serves beers, ales and wines. The lounge has an open fire and a cosy seating area. The en suite rooms at The Chequers Inn have flat-screen TVs, tea/coffee facilities and Wi-Fi access. Room service is available. The restaurant serves a blend of classical French and English cuisine, made with fresh local produce. During the summer, there is a patio for outside dining.
