Welcome to my retro 1980’s themed garden studio. I wanted to make your stay a fun experience with a colourful decor loaded with vintage and retro collectibles for that lovely nostalgia feeling. There's an 80’s movie library with over 100 awesome movies and retro gaming consoles for you to play. The studio is private with its own entry and patio but I’m only down the garden if you need help or advice. The place is newly renovated, finished in June 2024 with a lovely shower room, kitchenette and air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Cherry Cottage is great for a weekend visit and we've had a few people stay 5-7 nights but it's not really suitable for visits longer than 7 nights. With regards to location we’re in a small village called Wilden, just outside Stourport. You can walk around the area and down to the canal and The Rock Tavern pub is just over a 5 minute walk away for very nice food and drink (open Wednesday to Sunday). You can walk in to Stourport by path along the road or partly along the canal but it will take around 45 minutes depending on route and walking speed or it's a short 5 minute drive. Taxis are available and there is a bus stop a 3 minute walk away. Other than that you will need a car to get around and visit local areas of interest and attractions. We're in a quiet, small village just outside Stourport. It's around 30-45 minutes walk in to Stourport (depending on route and walking speed) or a short 5 minute drive. There is a fantastic local pub a 5 minute walk away that does great meals which is open Wednesday to Sunday. Please Note - we do not allow guests to bring pets to the property.

I have a passion for travelling and wanted to create a fun place for people to stay when they visit this lovely location in the Worcestershire countryside. A quality, comfortable and modern studio can make your visit relaxing and I’ve always liked slightly quirky places so I had fun creating this space and I’m sure you will too staying here.

Cherry Cottage is located in Wilden village and close to the riverside towns of Stourport and Bewdley. There are lovely walks on Hartlebury Common, around Hartlebury Castle and along the River Severn within a 5 minute drive. A flat 5 minute walk is The Rock Tavern, a friendly local pub with excellent food. There are several excellent pubs and restaurants nearby and you can take the Severn Valley Railway from Kidderminster as a unique way to explore the area. Just a 10 minute drive is the West Midlands Safari Park, Little Owl Farm Park and a wonderful museum in Bewdley. Further afield you can find the huge Wyre Forest Country Park, the Malvern Hills, the historic city of Worcester, Cadbury World, Warwick Castle and Birmingham is a 40 minute direct train from Kidderminster just 5 minutes away.
