Hello I am Lis! These are the first words you will hear when you arrive at Chestnuts. I love running our B&B in one of the most beautiful places in England. Born in Yorkshire and raised in Cape Town I love everything to do with holidays - whether I'm going on one or hosting one. I really enjoy doing what I do, and I derive most of our satisfaction from giving everybody a really relaxing holiday, if you're here for 2 days or 2 weeks, we like to make sure that your stay with us is 100% enjoyable. Our aim is not to be a boutique type establishment , and you will not find the latest gadgetry in the rooms. But we do try and make everything as comfortable as we possibly can, and work hard to put it right if it is not. So come on over, we are waiting to welcome you all to our little haven

Chestnuts B&B is a 300 year old listed building and is conveniently located in the very centre of the village, overlooking the village green and the River Windrush which flows through the Cotswold countryside on its journey to the Thames. Bourton on the Water is probably the most famous of all Cotswold villages and visitors come every year to sample the delights of its treasures. Its picturesque little bridges span the river, while the centuries old houses and shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants capture an age long since gone. Step out of Chestnuts B&B and you are in the very heart of the village, within immediate reach of its many facilities. The advantages of being so central are self evident when your leisure time is at a premium. As guests you have access which enables you to come and go as you please, allowing you the freedom to plan your days without time restrictions. Bourton on the Water is the home of Brum and Birdland. There are many walks around Bourton to enjoy and a wealth of wildlife to observe. Bourton is central to the Cotswolds as a whole, and everywhere worthy of merit is within easy and accessible reach of this beautiful village. We can cater for those special occasions with flowers, chocolates or champagne. We can also book meals for you and recommend places to eat.
