Coach House @ The Glen is a beautifully refurbished hayloft within the original Coach House building of 'The Glen', a 19th century listed building. The spacious bedroom, with views over the large, mature garden and the Glennan Burn has a Superking bed which can be converted into two full-size single beds if required. A luxury mattress topper and down-touch hypoallergenic duvet, together with crisp white sheets means the bed regularly receives rave-reviews from our guests! The living room is open plan with the full-size kitchen, making it a really spacious and sociable space for relaxing and cooking. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, ceramic hob and oven, nespresso coffee machine, fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Free Wifi is available throughout the property. Amazon TV is included for streaming Prime music, movies, videos and box-sets. The fully-tiled luxury bathroom has a 'P-shaped' bath with shower, a large designer radiator with towel bars and a heated mirror with light and shaver socket over the sink. Beautifully fluffy towels and complimentary 'Scottish Fine Soaps' toiletries are provided.

On arrival at the Coach House you will receive a starter pack of tea, coffee (instant and nespresso), sugar and milk. We welcome families with a baby. For a small additional cost we can provide a baby pack, if required. This includes a travel cot with mattress, high chair, bumbo seat, soft play mat, toy box, changing mat and baby bath. For families with a child 7 and under (approx) we can add a put-up bed into the bedroom (sharing with parents) for a small additional charge. If you would like to order your groceries online for delivery to the Coach House on the day of your arrival, we would be pleased to accept the delivery on your behalf and put your shopping away for you so that all you have to do when you arrive is sit down with a cuppa and relax! The Coach House is located in the tree-lined streets of the Upper West side of Helensburgh and is just a 10 minute stroll from Helensburgh town centre where you will find a whole range of local shops, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and a post office.

Helensburgh has a wealth of independent shops supplying fresh local produce and local artisan products. There is also a thriving restaurant and cafe culture with enough choice to try somewhere different every day! There's a fabulous local cinema - The Tower - which shows all the latest releases in the atmospheric environment of a former church! Helensburgh is known as the Gateway to the Highlands and is ideally situated for exploring the Clyde Sea Lochs and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. It is also a great jumping-off point for the rest of Argyll and the West Highlands. Two train stations provide easy access to Glasgow, Edinburgh and the famous West-Highand Line to Mallaig. Glencoe and Nevis Range ski centres are within an hour-and-a-half drive, providing skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer months.
