For nature lovers, Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is just 12 miles away. In November seal pups can be seen on the beach at Donna Nook, 20 miles up the coast. The medieval cathedral city of Lincoln is within an hour’s drive across the lovely Wolds countryside, and the market towns of Alford and Louth are well worth a day out.
