A cosy little barn set in the hills above the rugged Cornish cliffs between Tintagel and Boscastle. The property is open plan with a mezzanine bedroom. This is reached via a stylish ship stairway & features a king size bed. Watch the stars and peek at the sea in the distance through the skylights. Please note that a certain amount of bending is required in the mezzanine and also that the stairs are a little steep. If this is tricky then down below in the main living area we have a king size sofa bed as the other option for sleeping. There are excellent kitchen facilities including essentials like oil, vinegar and herbs. A big wet room is off the main living area with great shower pressure. Catch up on laundry and even iron your clothes for a special night out. Outside is your own private little garden with seating to enjoy a coffee in the morning sun. Underfloor heating and a woodburner make this place a cosy retreat even when the weather is not behaving. We supply a basket full of logs for each guest. The nearest town with pubs, restaurants and cafes is Tintagel and the nearest beach is Bossiney. Both of these are either a 5 min drive or a 30 min walk. The coastal path is nearby and we have some beautiful beaches for swimming and surfing. Bodmin Moor is about 15 mins by car where you can walk up Rough Tor and admire the far reaching views of North Cornwall. It is advisable to have a car for your visit as we are in quite a rural location. PLEASE NOTE - I am not able to answer initial messages when you first request to book. It’s how this site operates! Tintagel is a lovely little town with two mini markets, a pharmacy, countless pubs and eateries and lots of shops. It’s also where you can visit the ruins of Tintagel Castle. There are a variety of local beaches nearby which are great for surfing and swimming or perhaps to enjoy a meal and a pint whilst you watch the waves. Bodmin Moor is also just round the corner and is a great place for walking.
