Spacious one-bedroom Annex sleeps 2 Adults, but would also accommodate a small family comfortably. We can accept up to 2 small well-behaved pets. Off road parking for one vehicle is provided, plus Wifi and a well kept enclosed garden. Situated in the heart of Fishguard town, within a short walking distance of local shops, pubs, restaurants, café’s, buses, daily ferries to and from Ireland. and the popular Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Please note the property is close to a one way main road.
My husband Desmond, and I have lived in Pembrokeshire all our lives and have two grown up children, six grandchildren and a dog. Our hobbies are walking, traveling and exploring parts of Wales that we have not seen before. We both speak Welsh and would be happy to teach our guests a little bit of the language if interested. This is a new adventure for us and we are looking forward to meeting our guests from Airbnb. The Annex is situated next to but separate to our home, and you will have the whole place to yourselves during your stay. You are welcome to contact us at anytime should you have any questions or encounter any problems.
Lota Park play area is close by as well as the Co-operative food shop. There are a good variety of places to eat and drink nearby within a 5 minute walk away. A wealth of festivals throughout the year also take place in Fishguard, including the Fishguard Folk Festival in May, Challenge Wales Triathlon in June, International Music Festival in July and the Aberjazz Jazz & Blues Festival in August. The Annex is a 2 minute walk to the local bus stop. The Pembrokeshire Coast path is within a short walking distance. Tenby, Saundersfoot, Folly Farm, St Davids, (smallest city in UK), Newport Golf Club, are all a short driving distance away. Fishguard Harbour, with a twice a day Ferry crossing to and from Rosslare and a train station traveling to Swansea and Cardiff are a mile away. The beautiful Preseli Hills, and Gwaun Valley, where you can visit the historic Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber are about a 20-30 minute drive. There are numerous sandy beaches either within walking distance along the coastal path or 20-30 minutes by bus/car.
