The Roundhouse is handcrafted and unique, and inside you will be met with the most beautiful and tastefully decorated interior. Handcrafted features such as the well equipped floating kitchen, are designed to accentuate the circular shape of the building. The open plan arrangement allows you to enjoy the best views from the kingsize bed or snuggle up next to a wood burning stove and take in the these views in cosy comfort. A separate bathroom houses a spacious rainhead shower with room for two. Numerous walks can be taken directly from The Roundhouse and these take in gorgeous views of the Campsie Hills, Arrochar Alps and of all the surrounding farmland and moors. The location is unique in that it is only 2 miles from Milngavie which has shops, pubs and restaurants and boasts the start of The West highland Way. Loch Lomond National Park is a 25 min drive away as is Glasgow. Edinburgh is 1 hour away. Locally enjoy a tour of Glengoyne Distillery or why not walk part of The West Highland Way. We love creating an incredibly special and unique holiday experience for our guests. The highlight for us is reading our guest reviews book in The Roundhouse! Our most popular comment is that guests 'love the attention to detail and the stunning views'! We also really enjoy it when guests ask us about the local area and where to go, as we have both lived in the area our entire lives so have plenty of ideas between us. The Roundhouse is located on our 400acre farm and when we're not looking after The Roundhouse we are farming and looking after our 3 sons. We enjoy walking, running and cycling in this beautiful area.

Guests love the fact that is located in incredibly beautiful countryside yet only 2 miles from Milngavie which has shops, pubs and restaurants. You are still able to eat out or order takeaways! They also love being able to nip in to Glasgow in less than half an hour for restaurants, a huge array of shops and, theatres and museums. Guests regularly go to music concerts in Glasgow and we often have guests coming directly from Glasgow Airport. Milngavie train station has direct links with Glasgow. However if you love walking and the outdoors there is no need to get in the car as The Roundhouse is surrounded by numerous stunning walks. There is also The West Highland Way, the start of which is situated 2 miles away and Mugdock Country Park. You can also arrange a swim at The Nuffield which is a mile away. The iconic Loch Lomond (30 mins away) is a favourite with guests as is The Trossachs National Park. You can book boat tours on Loch Lomond or hire paddleboats locally. Glengoyne Distillery is 10 mins away and runs organised tours.
