Nearby, the South West Coast Path picks up part of the Tarka Trail along the estuary of the River Taw (part of North Devon’s Biosphere Reserve) which is an easy level route for walkers, passing through marshland and nature reserves that teem with wildlife before ending in the village of Instow.
