In central Bury St Edmunds, the Dog and Partridge is within 2 minutes’ walk of St Edmundsbury Cathedral, the Theatre Royal and the Greene King Brewery Museum. This Suffolk inn has a restaurant and provides free parking and WiFi. Each guest room has a TV, telephone and tea and coffee facilities. There is also an en suite shower or bath with hairdryer. The Dog and Partridge serves a traditional full English breakfast. The pub serves a range of cask ales, ciders and bottled beers, as well as a full restaurant menu featuring flame-grilled steaks, burgers and Sunday roasts. Bury St Edmunds is just under 40 minutes’ drive from Cambridge, and around 30 minutes from Newmarket Racecourse. Thetford Forest Park is around 7 miles north of the town.
