A bright double room near Belhaven bay (5 mins walk), Dunbar High Street (10 mins walk) and Dunbar railway station (15 min walk). Situated in a pleasant semi-detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac near to the sea. As a "homestay" there is sharing of amenities, such as living room, kitchen, bathroom [please note that the double room does not have an ensuite/private bathroom] and garden with the host. Free Wifi and access to a washing machine/drier. Further, clean linen and towels are provided. Parking is available in a driveway at the side of the property. Please be aware that the host has a (friendly) cat so this accommodation would not be suitable to anyone with allergies to (or a dislike of) cats.

New to hosting further to some great experiences travelling in Europe and staying in some lovely homestays. I am man in my 50s with interests in hiking, swimming, the outdoors and generally keeping fit.

The area is know for beautiful scenery, including the Belhaven bay and John Muir Country Park, as well as a rich history, great local amenities with excellent rail and road links to Edinburgh/Newcastle and further afield. Dunbar train station is on the main line, with access to Edinburgh in as little as 19 minutes. Local attractions include: the John Muir Way, Belhaven Surf Centre, Dunbar Town House Museum, Foxlake Adventures, John Muir Birthplace Museum and two golf courses (Winterfield and Dunbar). The town boasts a number of excellent bars and restaurants including the Brig & Barrel only a few minutes walk from the property.
