Situated very close to the South Downs National Park, this private double room is on the 1st floor of a detached house. It has a king-size bed, wardrobe, refrigerator, microwave, drawer space, TV, and an ensuite bathroom consisting of a shower, basin, and toilet. The house (with the host in residence) is in a large and beautiful garden. It is in a quiet location with road parking. A communal lounge/diner is available for breakfast and/or work. A car is advisable (essential) as local public transport is poor. Please note that two cats live in the house (downstairs). They are super friendly.
I live in the property and am available for large parts of the day. I carry my mobile phone while out. I am happy to chat if you are, but I will give you your space if that's what you prefer.
I am retired but keep very busy with multiple activities such as walking in our beautiful countryside, singing in a community choir, my local Toastmasters speaking club, and our local heritage windmill. All these keep me extremely active. I am happy to chat with you in German, French or Spanish - and English as my native language of course.
Check-in times by arrangement to suit you, but preferably before 6 pm.
I live in a quiet neighbourhood very close to the South Downs National Park which starts literally up the road. There are fabulous walks available on the South Downs, and the sea front is just a short drive away. There is a bus service (not very frequent, so having a car is good), and the train station is 3 miles away. The nearly village of Findon has several pubs and restaurants, and there is a micro-pub / shop about 150 yards away from the house.
