A luxury penthouse sea view 3 bedroom apartment with a large private garden with dining/seating areas and dog friendly (ten pound per night) located in the historic grade II listed Monmouth House overlooking Georges Square right in the heart of the Old Town of Lyme Regis. A Complimentary parking permit is provided. The house lies just 100 meters flat walk from the seafront and next to the Town Mill, restaurants, pubs and shops. MSPA hot tub available at fifty pound charge per booking. Monmouth House is a substantial Georgian townhouse dating back some 300 years. The Duke of Monmouth resided here during the Monmouth Rebellion. A house of historic importance the house has been beautifully restored to its former splendour retaining a wealth of character features including window seats, wood panelling, fireplaces.

Monmouth House is located in the very heart of the beautiful, unspoilt seaside town of Lyme Regis, on the stunning Dorset coast. Monmouth Street is one of the historic thoroughfares in the old town of Lyme Regis that that bounds an artisan triangle of bakeries, galleries, arts&crafts and bespoke haute couture. As well as a sandy beach and seafront promenade, the town has many fabulous restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. Lyme Regis is a wonderful location for those looking for a traditional seaside break, there are a wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award winning museum, and a wonderful theatre. For the more adventurous the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliffe between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. For those planning a holiday without a car, the mainline railway station in nearby Axminster is served by a regular bus service (or taxis), to and from the town
