With over 30 years experience, we began the restoration of East Dene: a significant Grade II* listed marine villa built in 1824, with exceptional historical value, in February 2025. Our approach has been sensitive from the beginning, respecting the building’s original fabric as a heritage asset, whilst elevating comfort, preserving history, and enhancing the guest experience with modern conveniences, whilst simultaneously protecting one of the last remaining intact Gothic Marine estates in the UK. This project is driven by authenticity, quality, and long-term custodianship. Every decision, from materials to design details, has been taken to protect the heritage, atmosphere, and unique character of East Dene. Our aim is to preserve and enhance this landmark so guests can enjoy a stay that is truly unique, rooted in history and reflective of this remarkable house and location.
