Located within the beautiful Exmoor National Park, East Lyn House is a beautiful Victorian villa on the banks of the East Lyn river.
Built around 1870 the house has wonderful views of the river and woodland path towards Watersmeet and down to the village, harbour and sea beyond.
East Lyn House has five double en-suite bedrooms, two king en-suite bedrooms and one twin en-suite. Our rooms are spread over two floors, and have been newly refurbished and individually decorated.
Each room enjoys either beautiful views along the river or towards the village, harbour and sea. Every bedroom has free wifi, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV and Crabtree & Evelyn 'La Source' toiletries.
Breakfast is served each morning between 8.30am-9.15am. We offer a delicious continental buffet which includes a choice of cereals, yoghurts, croissants and fresh fruit salad. We also offer a selection of hot, cooked breakfast, Full English, scrambled or poached eggs and smoked salmon. Both cold and hot breakfasts are included in your tariff.
We do offer free guest parking, subject to availability.
Once described as England’s ‘Little Switzerland’ by the Poet Laureate Robert Southey. The twin villages of Lynmouth and Lynton are located within the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Acre upon acre of lush moorland, rolling hills, rivers, waterfalls, pretty villages and a spectacular coastline of ancient rugged cliffs plummeting to the sea, make this one of the most beautiful places in North Devon.
