Hikers & Bikers Refuge offers the only dorm accommodation in Ipswich. We offer friendly, basic & clean place to stay where you can expect to meet like minded travellers. Our dorm room sleeps a maximum of 4 guests, with the use of a shared bathroom (bath and shower) & kitchen. Self serve continental breakfast is included so help yourself at your convenience. A cooked breakfast is available by request for an extra tenner. The room has a TV & each bed has an allocated locker, please remember a padlock if you wish to lock your valuables up. We run this along side our private rooms at East of Ipswich Bed & Breakfast.

Hi I’m Andrew, I like to welcome & enjoy meeting new people. I open my home to travellers as a refuge during cycle & walking expeditions, I hope you feel right at home. I live in a separate self contained flat at the property with my partner Araya, you may see us about the property and garden. I try to be there to welcome you, but if for some reason I can't I will send you instructions to help with checking in & finding your bed.

We are in between Ipswich & Woodbridge in the parish to Rushmere St. Andrew. We are just 2 miles from the A14 and the bus stop is opposite us with access to the main towns & train station on Route 66. Close by we have a couple of take away shops, golf course, hospital and a little further away the beautiful River Deben and market town of Woodbridge. We are in a great location to explore Suffolk's coast & countryside.
