Welcome to my home, right on Edinburgh's seaside. My flat is a traditional Victorian tenement, a staple of Scottish architecture. A 60 second walk to the beach and the Promenade -Portobello is the place to be if you want to experience more local life and enjoy the sea air and many brilliant restaurants, bars and shops. Several direct 10-20 minute bus services to the city centre stop right across the road departing and arriving very regularly and a beautiful half hour cycle path.

Portobello is Edinburgh's most desirable place to live for locals, and a ton of new restaurants, bars, and coffee shops have opened recently as well as some famous favourite spots. There are loads of activities out on the water including sailing, paddleboarding and kayaking, as well as beach volleyball tournaments and a famous victorian bathhouse and sauna on the beach. All along the coast from here to North Berwick and Dunbar are some beautiful spots that deserve lots more attention, whether by bus or train. Castles, world famous golf courses, gardens and outdoor activities. Give me a shout and I will sort you out with plenty to keep you busy in the area. Free parking on all streets here, and bus connections are almost constant, including night buses until 4am. The journey to the centre is a short 10-20 mins depending on traffic. Alternatively there is a really lovely cycle path that goes to and from the Old Town and city centre.
