There is a Tassimo coffee machine with coffee pods provided, fridge freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. My wife and I, along with our 3 young kids and dog love the outdoors. We spend most weekends (when we are not working renovating houses) near a lake in the Lake District. We live close by so we can be on hand if you need us. We can recommend our favourite coffee shops and restaurants nearby and also great places further afield.

Just round the corner is Brew - our favourite spot for coffee, breakfast or brunch. Across Dalton Square The Borough is a great traditional English pub that does great meals. Journey Social is another favourite place for food and coffee, as is Atkinsons in Lancaster Castle. Lancaster Castle is worth an explore. Williamson Park is a fantastic city park with activities for the kids and amazing views across Morecambe Bay. Morecambe is a short drive or train ride away, a walk (or bike ride / scoot) along the promenade is a great way to spend a sunny day, and there are activities (Jump Rush, Soul Bowl) to entertain the family if its not sunny. If you want a taste of the countryside the Arnside Knott is a great short hill walk, and Windermere is only half an hours drive away - Fellfoot Park is a great National Trust park at the south end of the lake. Theres also an aquarium there, steam train or if you want a hike, Gummers Howe is a great short walk.
