Based on the new development of Kennet Island, the neighbourhood is quiet, clean and friendly. It is a 5 minute drive from the centre of town, and a 5 minute drive to the M4 junction and to Green Park. In under a 10-minute walk there is a major supermarket, a petrol station, Pure gym and some local pubs and restaurants. The house is a 1-minute walk to the bus, which will take you to Reading Central Station (approx 7-minutes). London Paddington is just a 25-minute train ride away. Reading train station is part of the Elizabeth Line, a new extension of the London Underground. Offering a direct connection that goes to Central London and all the way through to East London, making visiting London simple and easy. In Kennet Island itself there is a small square with a convenience store, cafe, bus stop and a play park 1-minutes walk away.
