The Escape Pod is a unique, small self catering modern studio style space with stylish amenities and privately owned. -Kitchenette (with microwave), Coffee machine, Smart TV with fire stick, wifi. Shower room. Balcony and outdoor space and parking. Only 5 mins walk from the beach and village, maybe 10 mins walk back up! It is positioned in the garden of a private residential setting, and is the perfect sunshine trap. Enjoy the peace and country views. There are guide books in the Pod and information provided for local activities , restaurants, places to visit, or please ask me. Dogs are welcome and ask 10 pounds (GBP) to be left in the pod at the end of your stay as unable to add this as an extra fee. Thank you. I have lived in Beer with my two kids for 15 years after many years spent abroad and exploring the world... I built the Pod as I wanted to create something unique in my garden for others to enjoy the Jurassic coast from and from time to time my kids can use as an escape pod. It is completely seperate to the main house and is set up as a self check in, check out. Instructions are emailed separately upon confirmed reservation. We do park our cars to the side of the Pod, but not intrusively. Car parking is labeled for the escape pod and please do request for more than one car as can be arranged. We live in the main house, and happy to answer any questions and chat, but generally respect the privacy of your stay. Please do ask any questions.

The pod is in a residential area, but using a drop down path along the road leading to the Pod, you are only 5 mins walk to the beach. Lots of Friendly people to offer advice locally. Everything you need on your doorstep in Beer, the beach and cafes, newsagent, deli, off licence, pharmacy, several pubs and places to eat. Big Tescos in nearby Seaton. (Famous breakfast spot on Beer beach with the beach cafes which are open Easter to End of summer.) Amazing walks and beaches locally, Beer, Branscombe, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, all offering something different. South West coastal path on your door step. Easy access to Jurassic coastline. My neighbour owns and runs the self service boats on Beer beach and often found tinkering on his boats out of season and happy to chat or book one of his boats and go fishing or explore the local coastline by boat. Bus stop is 5 Mins walk and covers the Jurassic coast.
