Fell view is a special place to us and our family and we love sharing it with our guests. We take a great pride in our cottages. We visit every 5 weeks to personally check the cottage to ensure it is the best it can be for our guests. We have been doing this for over 20 years with many guests returning year on year, Along with our caretaker, we ensure our cottages are well looked after and we are always on hand to help. Fell View is superbly well equipped, warm and peaceful. Ideal for a holiday in the Lakes. We do NOT accept pets and you will be asked to leave if a pet is found. NB FREE access to the Spa is available for all GUESTS . Under 15 years of age may use the swimming pool and table tennis only. THE SPA IS 15 MINS AWAY in the CAR The spa is available all day, everyday for hot tub, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym etc. We have off road parking for 2 cars and they must be parked on the drive and in the garage. If you can not park in the garage more parking is available at the back of the cottage. Please do not park infront of the neighbour's house as being elderly they find maneuvering around a vehicle very difficult. You can park at the back of Fell View NB. We do not have a dedicated EV charging point, nor do we have a power socket, either indoors or outdoors, that is suitably rated, protected and certified as safe for use for charging an EV, or for plugging in a lead that is routed outdoors. We are therefore unable to allow the charging of EVs on the premises and if guests are found to be doing so will be asked to leave. We’re happy to direct guests to the nearest available public charging points and can provide this information in advance of arrival on request

I'm Alison, and together with my husband Brian, we own and run Fell View. We are most happy to welcome you to Fell view but as it is our special home,we hope you will look after it. We ask Booking.con to over see any damage etc that guests do to the property and will submit a claim if needed. We fell in love with the Lakes 30 plus years ago and decided over 20 years ago to buy Fell View. We love sharing Fell View with guests, as it is a wonderful cottage to relax in and recharge your batteries! It's also a great location for staying in to visit many fabulous places in the Lakes. If you enjoy exploring new places, good meals and a cozy cottage to come back to, then Fell View is ideal. We have a wonderful sun trap of a garden that we enjoy sitting in, chatting and having a glass or two! We also enjoy going to the local pub, The Pheasant, for an excellent meal, and we sometimes do the pub quiz (although we aren't very good! ) WE do hope you will come and visit Fell View.

You and your family and friends will be very comfortable in our delightful cottage with estuary and fell views. Conveniently located close to both Grange-over-Sands and Cartmel offering Edwardian charm, good amenities and Michelin Star restaurants with Lake Windermere only 15 minutes away. Fell View is set in the beautiful quiet village of Allithwaite and yet only 1 mile from the Foodie village of Cartmel, with all its shops, cafes, pubs and Michelin Star restaurants! and 2 miles from the Edwardian seaside resort of Grange over Sands, with its beautiful prom, award winning shops and tea rooms. Allithwaite has a fabulous award winning pub that you can walk to serving great food, a children’s playground, a village orchard, shop and BMX pump track. Why not treat yourself to an ice cream from Wraysholme Creamery on your way to RSPB Humphrey Head for a walk?! There are nearby train stations at Grange over Sands, Kents Bank and Cark in Cartmel should you need. There are many walks from the front door and we have provided a local walks file for your enjoyment.
