Offering stunning sea views, Fern Villa is located in the fishing villages of Fishguard & Goodwick, a 5 minute walk from the Pembrokeshire coast path and seafront. With nearly an acre of terraced gardens which guests are welcome to use. Once home to an Admiral our Victorian villa is now a friendly bed & breakfast. Fern Villa offers a variety of room types, all individually decorated to Visit Wales 4 star standard. Our double rooms are all en-suite with beautiful sea views. Twin and single room with garden views. Rooms come complete with flat screen tv, tea/coffee making facilities, fresh linen and cosy chairs. Free wifi throughout. Free parking. A full cooked breakfast is included in the room rate. Walking trails are on our doorstep, the train station and Stena ferry 200m away. Nearby is St Davids, Newport and Cardigan. Fern Villa is perfect for a short or long stay.
We have lived here since 2008 having spent many wonderful holidays in the area. We love walking and exploring this beautiful part of West Wales, and have walked the whole Pembrokeshire coastpath, admittedly in sections over a 30 year period! We love taking photos of the area which we display in the B&B. We really enjoy meeting our guests who come from all over the world, and we are more than happy to advise you on what to do and see in the area.
We are conveniently situated in an old fishing village close to shops, pubs and restaurants, all within walking distance. The coastpath, train & bus station, ferry port to Ireland are just down the road. The city of St Davids is a 20 minute drive away as is Newport. Wildlife watchers will love Strumble Head, a 10 minute drive or 6 mile walk, where sightings of porpoises, dolphins and seals are regularly seen. Inland the Gwaun Valley and Preseli hills await your exploration.
