Apartment 2 is our most bijou and economical property at Khyber Lodge. It is a cosy, ground floor holiday apartment located in the heart of Whitby. Ideal for two guests, this one-bedroom property will provide a home from home by the sea.
Khyber is home to four separate apartments with a maximum capacity of 10. If you are looking for a stay for a large group, there are often opportunities to rent all four apartments together. Please send us an email with your preferred dates for availability and prices.
Property information
Apartment 2 is the most bijou and economical property at Khyber Lodge, with a bright and spacious living and dining area. Offering a large bay window, crisp light walls and wooden flooring, it is modern yet homely. Retreat to the leather sofa and turn on the flat screen TV to enjoy a relaxing night in. The dining area is in the bay window so you have views of the quiet neighbourhood below.
The kitchen features white brick style tiles, high shine cabinets and grey worktops. Fully equipped, the kitchen has everything you could need for a self-catering stay.
Head to the master bedroom where you’ll find a comfortable double bed and ample wardrobe storage.
The bathroom is compact, with a Shower - WC and wash basin.
Neighbourhood information
Located on the West side of Whitby, Khyber is just a short 10-minute walk into the centre of town. Head to Pier Road and you’ll find cosy pubs, fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants. Continue along the lively road until you reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts. At the other end of Pier Road, you’ll notice the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk.
