This Victorian building remains the most prominent feature of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, taking its name from the Earl of Zetland, who sold the land on which to develop the town. He also performed the formal opening of the hotel on 27 July 1863. Frank’s View has some of the best views along the whole Yorkshire coastline, looking across the bay of Saltburn to Huntcliff and out to sea. You get a feeling of grandeur and olden day luxury as you make your way up the grand old staircase to the apartment.
