Gable Lodge offers home-from-home comfort a stone's throw from some of Exmoors most spectacular scenery. It has balcony rooms with views over Lynton and beyond to the Devon hills. Relax on a south facing balcony, stroll down to local restaurants and wake up to a breakfast packed with delicious local produce. The house is a fine example of late Victorian architecture and has a Grade 2 listing. There is a beautiful front garden with lawns and cottage garden type flower beds. The terrace is a great place to watch Lynton life stroll by. The rooms are bright, light and comfortable. They are highly rated by guests for their cleanliness. They all have private, en-suite shower rooms. A guest lounge offers further space to relax and feel at home. Newly-installed fibre broadband ensures wifi access throughout the property.
After a successful first season in Lynton last summer, I am really looking forward to welcoming new guests and those who return. It has been wonderful to get to know people from all over the country as well as from Europe. I have been able to make use of the languages I speak (French, German, Spanish). I have made many personal memories in Lynton and North Devon and look forward to helping you make your own new memories here.
We are a few 100 m from the facilities of Lynton a small Exmoor coastal town, with its own shops, cafes, restaurants, museum, cinema and famous cliff railway. A short walk takes you to the Valley of Rocks with its amazing rock formations, Lynmouth which is at sea level is a 15 minute walk down the cliff path with rocky beaches and beautiful riverside walks. Take a walk or short drive further onto the moors to find wonderful walks, horse riding and pretty moorland villages.
