The Carrick-Buchanan family has owned Corsewall Estate for over 200 years. When Angus and Kate Carrick-Buchanan moved to Corsewall House in 2002, they set about renovating a number of properties so they could provide luxury, high-end holiday accommodation.

With wonderful sea views, this 4* three bedroom cottage is ideal for family holidays and has a fabulous network of woodland walks and coastal paths on its doorstep. Please note we don't accept bookings on behalf of contractors. Two dogs are very welcome and charges apply - let the owners know when booking.
Forming the west wing of the 18th Century Corsewall House, Garden Cottage has wonderful sea views across Loch Ryan. With three en suite bedrooms, this luxury self-catering cottage by the sea comfortably accommodates six guests.
The living area downstairs is open plan with a stylish kitchen including a Belfast sink and large dining table. The spacious sitting room is south-facing and overlooks the extensive Estate gardens. The sitting room has an electric wood-burning-style stove. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor with an en suite bathroom. There is also a cloakroom with a shower and a utility room. Upstairs there's a twin and a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom and en suite shower respectively.
The cottage is equipped with a Delonghi bean to cup coffee machine, smart television, DVD player, a Roberts digital radio and a Bluetooth speaker, Wi-Fi, a selection of board games and books. It also has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, hob and electric double oven.
This is one of two ‘green’ cottages on the Estate with the central heating provided by a wood chip biomass boiler and electricity provided by one of the Estate’s wind turbines.
Outside there's a games room, tennis court, zip wire, children's climbing frame, wendy house and large trampoline. There's an extensive network of wonderful woodland walks and coastal paths for guests to enjoy and the nearest beach is a 10 minute walk from the front door. Lady Bay, one of the Estate's beaches is ideal for paddling, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. The pub in the village is a short walk away and serves excellent fish and chips.

There’s so much for visitors to do in Dumfries & Galloway when staying at Corsewall Estate from golf and walking to gardens and sightseeing.
For keen golfers there are two 18-hole golf courses nearby at Portpatrick and Stranraer.
There are beautiful sandy beaches Corsewall Estate including Lady Bay, plus there are wonderful sandy beaches at Sandhead and at Killantringan.
There’s a pub in the village of Kirkcolm within easy walking distance that serves great fish and chips.
There are a number of wonderful gardens nearby to visit including the Logan Botanic Garden, Castle Kennedy Gardens and Glenwhan.
There are lots of visitor attractions from the Mull of Galloway, Logan Fish Pond and Kitchen Coos and Ewes to Culzean Castle and Dumfries House up the coast in Ayrshire.
For keen walkers, there are lots of coastal paths and woodland walks on Corsewall Estate and slightly further afield in the Galloway Forest Park including the highest mountain in southern Scotland, the Merrick.
Venture overseas on a ferry from Cairnryan and take a day trip to Ireland to visit Belfast and the Titanic Museum.
