We understand that when you're on a flying visit, sometimes you just need somewhere to lay down your head, so we respect your privacy and space. Being detached, the little flat is ideal if you like your own space or don't wish to be disturbed. We are not intrusive hosts, but we are happy to chat and help out as best we can, if you need some advice as to where to go or how to get there. We live next to the little flat and are usually not far away should you need anything. We always try to make your stay comfortable and easy.

We live in a friendly, safe neighbourhood. There is a nice village atmosphere and a gym, library, pubs, cafés, take-away restaurants, Balmoral Golf Club (all within a minute's walk). Outdoorsy guests might be interested in checking out nearby parks and walks, including Shaws Bridge Canal walk, a floodlit driving range (5 mins drive away) and Mary Peters' running track. Getting around is very easy from our home. It's about a half hour walk to the city centre and buses leave on doorstep - every 10 minutes to city, which is only a 15 minute journey. Train station just minutes walk away.
