Gate House has a kitchen/diner, a sitting room, snug and reading rooms, all with woodburning stoves, three king-size bedrooms with en-suites, a twin with en-suite, and a cloakroom. Appliances consist of a Range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, six Smart TVs with FreeSat, two DVD players, a PlayStation, and a selection of books. Outside there is an enclosed front garden with lawn, enclosed rear patio with furniture, secure storage, and hot tub, access to 1-acre, enclosed field, by prior request, and a private driveway for four cars. Three well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included, along with a highchair and travel cot. Enjoy the best of Cumbria from Gate House. Nestling at the head of Coniston Water, the pretty village of Coniston is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the Lake District National Park, making it a superb base for touring, with Hawkshead, Ambleside, Windermere and Grasmere just a short drive away.
