This house is fantastic. Decorated beautifully, comfy beds, so much space. The roof space kept us entertained all weekend and the hot tub was a great bonus. We walked to the local pub for a lovely meal aswell. The surroundings and views are...

Location was beautiful, space within house was great and games room was fantastic. Beds were comfy - some even commented it was the best sleep they’d had in ages

There was a huge amount of of space - a large living room, kitchen/ diner and upstairs games area. It also had all possible amenities to make the stay as comfortable and home-away-from-home.

The house was exceptional and far exceeded our expectations. The house was clean and to a very high standard. The hot tub was a very nice bonus having driven all the way from South Wales. The location was a bit out of the way for our trips into...

It was a great place to stay for a holiday. Neat and tidy with all the amenities. Great for small kids and young adults with all the games available. Would get it again if we come to Scotland.

Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating with a last minute request. Easy check in and check out. Facilities were exactly what we needed - and had a BBQ for us to use in the garden. Excellent location with lots of things to do nearby. Plenty...

The games room was a winner for our family, kids absolutely loved it. Karaoke was a hit for the adults. Gorgeous property with stunning views. Would definitely book to stay here again.

The house was perfect for our needs, as the weather was dismal. A family group of over 60s, the cinema and games room amused us in between downpours.

The games room and cinema suite were a good send for everyone! Loads of games to play together. The beds were extremely comfy, loads of storage and the kitchen is stocked with enough equipment to get by. The lounge with the stove is the perfect...

Four spacious bedrooms, a king size with en suite and shower, two doubles and one twin all accommodated on the ground floor provide the perfect accommodation after a day exploring Arrochar. A modern family bathroom on the ground floor with a bath and shower and on the first floor a shower room allow for individual facilities for guests. The large living room offers a log burner for those cosy nights in front of the fire and a 75 inch television with Netflix and Freeview. The kitchen and dining room offer fantastic views of the nearby mountains and hills with large patio doors that lead in to the south facing garden offering various seating areas and a large outdoor shelter. Pets are welcome but incur an additional fee.

If there is any area you feel that we fall short in, or if you have any ideas on how we can improve, we would love to hear from you. We would also love to hear from you if you have enjoyed your time with us, so please tell us if we got it right for you ! If you have any special requests for your trip, please let us know and we will always do our best to accommodate them.
There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, from castles to breweries, fishing to boat trips and even flying. There is plenty of walking and hiking to be done whether its by lochs and burns through wooded glens, hiking the Munro’s and Corbett’s, or the world famous Ben Arthur (The Cobbler), which features the most distinctive outline of any mountain in the Southern Highlands. Access to these hills and walks starts from the drive way at Gleann Fia House with a footpath starting right next to the house taking you straight up the side of the mountain. There are many beautiful towns and villages in the area such as Inveraray, with its fairytale castle, old jail, the nearby renowned Oyster Bar at Loch Fyne and Loch Fyne Brewery. Towards Dunoon the botanical gardens at Benmore offer many rare species of trees and shrubs, including giant redwoods! Only a 12 minute walk around Loch Long you can relax with the locals in Ben Arthur’s Bothy, a local pub where your dog is also welcome or dine out at The Slanj, a great local restaurant. A short ferry ride can also be taken from Tarbet across Loch Lomond to conquer Ben Lomond !
