We are excited to offer our self-contained garden casita, which we renovated in 2024. The design of our small but beautiful retreat is inspired by our coastal location next to the woods. We enjoy an elevated position and our upstairs bedroom with king sized bed benefits from double aspect Velux windows. One can be opened out to a Cabrio balcony towards the castle and partial sea views. There is plenty of room for a cot if guests wish to bring their own. Downstairs is a small kitchen, dining area, shower room and lounge with a 50” smart TV. We also have super fast WiFi. There is a well equipped kitchen, including dishwasher and boiling tap, although a kettle is available if preferred. We supply towels and offer a selection of teas, coffee and other essentials for your stay. *Casita means little house in Spanish and is often used in the US to describe a small house in the grounds of a larger property.

We live in the main house and would like to welcome you to our casita. In July 2024 we finished our conversion and became hosts for the first time. We have very much enjoyed meeting our varied guests, have had great feedback on our rather unique property and we recently gained a Traveller Review Award from Booking. We both work freelance and manage the property ourselves to ensure the very highest standards for our guests. We love living by the sea and very much enjoy the beach, sea swimming and all of the quirky independent restaurants, bars and shops that our town has to offer.

We are in a central location, adjacent to the impressive red brick and sandstone Hastings Museum and Art Gallery. Summerfields Leisure centre is a 3 minute walk away with indoor pool, gym and sauna facilities. We are just a short 7 minute walk from Hastings station and less than 10 minutes to our Victorian Town Centre, Hastings Pier, seafront and White Rock Theatre (albeit uphill!). We are located between our historic medieval Old Town and vibrant St Leonards, both of which are just a 15 minute walk and have a fantastic array of great independent shops, restaurants and bars. We are located in a very quiet residential neighbourhood.
