We are situated just off the main street in Glencoe village which is at the northern end of Glencoe itself . The cottage has an enclosed private garden to each side with a decking area looking right back up the valley to the peaks of Glencoe and the Pap of Glencoe , this fine view can really be appreciated from all the upper floor room windows . There are also views north across the village to the peaks of Ardgour.
We have our own 2 parking spaces immediately beside us , in the garden we've provided tables and chairs along with a couple of sun loungers so you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and mountain views.
The upper bathroom contains a bath tub and the lower bathroom has a large walk in shower so most preference's are covered !
The house is all electric heated so no worrying about gas or fuel .
We have 2 sitting rooms with Freesat TVs -one upstairs and one downstairs . Free WiFi is available .
The entrance porch is fitted with boot racks , a heater and hangers for drying wet clothes and there is a small utility room with a washing machine and tumble drier
The village is self contained and a lovely tranquil spot overshadowed by the Pap of Glencoe hill , it is off the main road with a shop, pub/restaurant , cafe and petrol station all within a few minutes walking distance .
We are a very central location ideal for visiting areas further afield in the West Highlands such as Fort William , Oban , Mallaig and the Isle Skye but the main attraction for many is the fantastic Glencoe and the surrounding hills and mountains which offer great walking for all abilities .
The whole area is fabulously scenic and historic , some of the best hill-walking in Scotland is on your doorstep . Ben Nevis , the UKs highest mountain is easily accessible- 45 mins away by car .
Inverness and Loch Ness are 2 hours drive away , the North end of Loch Lomond is just over an hour away .
