Tucked away at the edge of the town-centre and near the river, this holiday cottage boasts a feature fireplace, spacious kitchen-diner, two bedrooms, and designated off-road parking for 2 medium sized cars. Other benefits include shower room, and large lounge area. An intercom system is a super feature for a property spread over three floors. You enter the property on the Ground Floor to discover a spacious hallway and period fireplace. Up the first set of stairs, you’ll come to the two bedrooms and the shower room. Bedroom One has a double bed. Bedroom Two has a queen bed. We have a double sofa bed in the lounge and a travel cot available on request. On the top floor you’ll find the expansive lounge and well-equiped dining kitchen. Both feature beams, and are bright and airy. Bewdley is a Georgian riverside town which is steeped in history. The town boasts a museum which is free to enter, a brewery and the beautiful Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens with its pond and many sculptures. For dining and drinking, there is a wide choice of restaurants, cafes, and pubs. You’ll also find many independent shops and boutiques. For days out, West Midlands Safari Park, the Severn Valley Railway (with superb stops such as Bridgnorth and Arley Arboretum), Go Ape, and the Wyre Forest are all in the local vicinity. A car is recommended if you want to take advantage of the Safari Park. Otherwise, you’ll find a local bus service and taxi cab services readily available in the town. For keen walkers, Bewdley marks the beginning of the Worcestershire Way, a renowned walk stretching approximately 31 miles through glorious countryside all the way to Malvern. You’ll also find golf courses, horse riding, and river canoeing within a short drive.

Bewdley is a popular North Worcestershire riverside town. Within walking distance to the property is Bewdley Museum, the Severn Valley Railway, the River Severn and many local shops, pubs and restaurants. A short driving distance away are the West Midlands Safari Park and the beautiful Wyre Forest. Further afield are the popular town of Ludlow and the cities of Birmingham, Worcester and Hereford. For walkers, there is a public footpath along the river from Bewdley to Bridgnorth (approximately 20 miles) with the option of getting the Severn Valley Railway back (at a cost). There is allocated off-road parking at the property for one large vehicle or two small cars.
