We have been hosting guests at Osprey Meadow since June 2021 and we live onsite with our family, who love all the new friends they have made. It was clear to us as soon as we saw the site that it needed to be enjoyed by people. It is very special and we hope to provide our guests with some lovely memories here. As a family our interests are the great outdoors and we enjoy setting off on adventures in our camper van when we have time. Exploring the UK and all it's wonders is what we enjoy most, plus spending time with our family and friends. Lisa's mum Judith also lives on site and so it really is a family affair at Osprey Meadow.

Osprey Meadow offers a perfect escape for a variety of travellers. Whether you are wanting to explore the surrounding Yorkshire Dales and/or North York Moors, relax in a beautiful setting, visiting family or are away on business, Osprey Meadow will delight. Our holiday cottages are set in an idyllic courtyard with established hedging providing private seating areas for each cottage. We have ample parking in our large car park, which also has the convenience of two electric charging points and free for our guests to use. Any guests requiring further security can arrange for equipment or bikes to be stored separately. All our guests have the benefit onsite of a 4 acre recreational field and small orchard. This area has the addition of a wonderful children's climbing frame and play area, a hammock, a small football pitch, tree swing, fairy trail and quoit pitches. There is a cut path for strolling or running and picnic tables. We also have a hot tub available for hourly hire upon request. Internally our holiday for comfortable furnishings and are tastefully decorated to create a relaxing environment for your stay. Our holiday cottage guests have the use of an onsite laundry and lending library, with ample games, books and DVDs to enhance from stay. We have also put other useful items in here that you may wish to use, such as baking equipment, a sewing box, baby toys, high chairs, travel cots and a wheelchair. For those of our guests who like animals we have a pond and an array of ducks and chickens to entertain our guests with their playful antics and to provide a good supply of free range eggs! Our resident dogs are Bailey, Bella and Lola who always provide a warm welcome to those guests wishing to receive one. Osprey Meadow has 3 cats who will enjoy a fuss if you wish to accommodate them, being Blossom, Poppy and Bruce. We simply want your visit to Osprey Meadow to be as enjoyable as possible.

Osprey Meadow is located between two small villages, Exelby and Burneston. Both of these have wonderful pubs within walking distance, offering great food. The pub in Exelby is community run and well supported. Bedale is only a short 5 minute drive away and is a bustling Georgian market town, with lots of small, local traders. The other Dales towns of Northallerton, Leyburn, Richmond, Ripon and Thirsk are all within 20-30 minutes drive of the Cottages, so there is plenty for everyone to do on the doorstep.
