The cabin was built in 2025. I has a kingsize bed with linen and towels provided. There is a sofa and smart flat screen tv. There is a kitchenette kitted with everything you should need. There is a table and chairs for dining. There is a separate bathroom with a large walk in shower. The front of the cabin has floor to ceiling glass with great views of the loch and MacLeods Tables. It is also a great viewpoint to see some local viewpoint including deer, rabbits and a range of birdlife. There are chairs on the decking to enjoy the view and a picnic table to the side of the cabin for eating outside.

Angus and I have lived in our house on the croft nearby the cabin since 1986. The house has been in Angus's family for many generations. We have been very lucky to have raised our four children in this beautiful part of Skye. We enjoy walking and this area is a great base for many walks. I am also a wild swimmer and can walk the short distance from my house to the bay.

Harlosh is a great base for many activities. There are lots of places around the area for walking. It is also only 600 metres from the cabin to the bay where many people go canoeing and kayaking. It is also ideal if you are into wild swimming. We are situated 5 miles from Dunvegan where you will find a number of paces to eat and a few local shops and also a garage selling fuel. It is also home to the famous Dunvegan Castle. The nearest town is Portree situated 25 miles away from the cabin. There you will find a large supermarket and lots of small local shops. There are also plenty of places to eat in or take away. It also has boat trips leaving from Portree harbour.
