Cosy, well equipped and tastefully decorated house is located just outside of Dunvegan, Isle of Skye. Fantastic base for exploring the magical Island of Skye. The cottage is detached and consists of a lounge, kitchen/diner, double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom. There is a large front garden and plenty of space for parking. We have extensive knowledge of the area and can provide information or advice when needed. Our aim is to provide a home away from home for our guests. The village of Dunvegan sits on the shore of Loch Dunvegan and is famous for Dunvegan Castle, seat of the Chief of Clan MacLeod. There are lovely woodland walks in the area and the nearby Coral Beaches are one of Skye's hidden gems. Local amenities include Skye's Oldest Bakery, Restaurant and Cafes, General Store, Fruit & Veg store, Post Office and a Medical Centre.

Hillside is set in a small settlement just off the main road. We have three of the main attractions close by, Dunvegan castle, Neist point and the Coral beaches. Dunvegan is 2 miles away with an excellent restaurant, shops, garage, post office, bakery, take away, and several cafes. Roskhill is an ideal location, quiet, peaceful with nature on your door step. We have a wide variety of wild life such as red deer, sea eagles, seals and roe deer. Dark starry night skies with the sound of the river Roskhill in the distance. Although Skye is a busy island there are still wild places where you can walk for hours without meeting anyone.
