I have worked in the holiday let industry in Oxford & the Cotswold's for the past 10 Years and have been very lucky to work in some very stunning locations. I enjoy hosting and meeting guests from all over the world and providing them with a great service through out their stay. I help to manage four properties in the Cotswolds alongside the owners and I am on hand for guests when needed but will also respect your privacy during a stay with us. In an area of outstanding beauty, Masons Cottage was built of Cotswold stone in the 1800's and overlooks a large 1.5 acre country garden which is shared with the owners. The cottage is attached to the main house, but is totally self-contained. There is onsite parking & fast broadband. We provide a complimentary welcome pack, including eggs from our free range chickens and honey from the garden apiary. There is a spacious en suite king bedroom (comfortable bed & organic cotton), sitting room and fully equipped kitchen including GRIND coffee machine and BOSE bluetooth speaker. In the bathrooms we provide Bramley shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap. The garden, and approach to the cottage, is typical Cotswold rolling countryside & the private car parking is approximately 50 meters from the cottage. The driveway is quite steep and may not be suitable for low profile cars. We have two Working Cocker Spaniels who are very friendly and well trained, but very busy!! They may greet you when you arrive! Electricity sockets are available for guests to use if you have an electric car & your own adapter for charging. We charge a fifteen pound fee for up to a 3 night stay to guests wishing to use the electrical supply to charge their car. To get the most out of your weekend, we allow late departures on Sundays whenever possible. The local village pub - The White Horse - has recently been successfully brought by the community and is a quintessential village pub less than 10 minutes walk from the cottage. An affordable pub that offers local craft beer and supports lots of local suppliers and produce.
