The Hand & Sceptre by Innkeeper's Collection has been fully refurbished in 2023, each room has a Hypnos bed with mattress topper, flat-screen TV, desk and is furnished in a modern design. Each en-suite bathroom has also been fully refurbished and includes a powerful shower, toiletries and plenty of fluffy towels
The Hand & Sceptre by Innkeeper's Collection is a restored 18th-century hotel, set within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The historic town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is just a 5-minute drive away, and the accommodation offers free private parking.
Fresh, seasonal food is served in the The Hand and Sceptre pub, which features modern British dishes interwoven with some Mediterranean influences. A traditional Sunday roast is also available, and guests can enjoy their drinks on the pub terrace which overlooks Southborough green.
Groombridge Place Gardens is a 15-minute drive and features a moated manor house with a secret garden. Lamberhurst Vineyards and Hever Castle are both around 10 miles from the accommodation.
