This 1870s house is the home of Chillfilms and is on Wyrral Hill, nestled behind the gardens of Street Road. Entry to the apartment is on the left once through the double gates at the top of the driveway. It is a peaceful, quirky, arty and creative space filled with Janet's upcycled furniture and furnishings. There is off-street parking available at the top of Janet's long driveway before the double gates.
You are made to feel very welcome by Janet and Hazel, her cute and lovely dog. Janet is happy to share knowledge of local art, music venues and alternative events. Janet can be found at the local monthly artisan market at Glastonbury Town Hall selling her handcrafted feltwork, natural fibre fabric painted dresses and shirts. Also, fantasy castles built on crystals. Janet is a keen gardener and happy to share her knowledge on permaculture and all things environmental.
Just 10 minutes walk to the top of Wyrral Hill, Glastonbury Abbey and the High Street where many alternative therapies can be found. Across the road from the bottom of the driveway is the bus stop and the local Morrisons supermarket. The world famous Chalice Well Gardens, White Spring and the Tor are only 20 minutes walk away. There are many live music pubs in town and several good places to eat.
