Bowness on Windermere is the perfect central hub to base yourself in the Lake District. The cottage is nestled just off Lake Road so is perfectly central yet removed from the hustle and bustle.
The cottage is only a short stroll to Lake Windermere, the lake ferries, the Beatrix Potter Attraction, shops, restaurants, bars, walks and pubs.
From the village either by ferry, bus or car all
the surrounding areas are easily reached such as Ambleside, Keswick, Grasmere etc.
