Experience the charm of our beautiful, traditional Cornish miner’s cottage, dating back to the 19th century. Nestled in a lovely railway village, this quirky cottage boasts delightful old features, including a narrow staircase and low doorways that add to its unique character. The cottage offers one double bedroom and two small double bedrooms (listed as single), perfect for cosy stays. There is one bathroom, located downstairs, which comprises a toilet, basin, and shower. On-street parking is typical of many Cornish towns and villages, so visitors may need to do a short walk from their car to the cottage. The village itself features a lovely old church and a woodland walk with a river at the edge of the village, perfect for dog walkers. Situated just a 10-minute drive from some of the best beaches in the southwest, and only 20 minutes to the artistic haven of St. Ives. You’ll be close to Falmouth, Porthleven, St. Michael’s Mount, Mousehole, St. Agnes, Gwithian, and many other stunning beaches and beautiful spots in Cornwall.

I am Cornish and passionate about the beauty and culture Cornwall has to offer. From walking the stunning cliff tops, Poldark style 😀, to sitting in a beach bar watching the sun go down, to exploring local art galleries – there's so much to see and do. It will be hard to pack it all in!

Our cottage is located in a tucked-away railway village, offering an easy walk to local shops, woodlands, and the train and bus station. It's just a 10-minute drive to beautiful local beaches and 20 minutes from the vibrant town of St. Ives. There is no designated parking at the property, but on-street parking is available nearby.
