Ladybird is a tasteful, contemporary cottage located near Bridgwater in Somerset. It boasts two bedrooms; a king-size double and a twin, as well as a bathroom and a cloakroom, sleeping four people altogether. There is also a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an electric fire. To the outside is a shared lawn with access to the lake along with a private patio area with seating and off-road parking for 1 car. Ladybird is a charming home-from-home with a delightful situation in south-west England. Please note that our check in times are between 2.00-5.00pm, if you wish to arrive later, please do contact us as this will have to be arranged in advance (extra fee of 36 is applicable for arrivals after 5pm or Sunday arrivals or departures)Please note - Ladybird does not accept Governmental & Local Authority bookings

The town of Bridgwater is situated close to the Mendip Hills in the North and the Quantocks to the West, the town has several buildings of historical interest, a selection of restaurants and pubs and is notable for the annual Bridgwater Illuminated Carnival in November. Cheddar is only a few miles away as is Glastonbury, home of King Arthur and pop festivals. The wetland areas surrounding Bridgwater are internationally renowned for wintering wildfowl and wading birds and support numerous species of breeding birds. Nearby Shapwick Heath is an excellent example of a wetland nature reserve well worth a visit, as is the Steart Marshes on the Bridgwater Bay National Nature Reserve.
