Secluded, cozy newly built holiday lodge. Fully enclosed garden with patio and grassed area overlooking our large lake, teaming with wildlife. Ducks, geese and herons, and many other wild birds. Beautiful bathroom with deep free standing double ended bath as well as large rainfall shower. Open plan living area with spectacular views and country style fully equipped kitchen and smart TV. The bedroom provides a snug and homely space with double bed enjoying views towards the lake. The Sofa bed easy transforms the living area into a comfortable additional sleeping space. The lodge is located next to the lake and water meadows which sometimes are grazed by cattle or sheep.

The farm next door has been my home for 30 years and I'm extremely proud of our newly built holiday lodge. We enjoy welcoming guests to relax and enjoy their time staying at Lakeside Lodge. We pride ourselves on how often we receive compliments how spotlessly clean and tidy the accommodation is.

The stunning historic city of Winchester is on our doorstep, just a short drive away. We are perfectly located to enjoy the quiet countryside after a busy day in the city. Winchester hosts a Christmas market leading up to the festive season, this is a must see. Marwell Zoo is a few minutes drive away. Southampton and Portsmouth are both just over half an hour away. So many visitor attractions are close by, Winchester Cathedral, Portsmouth Historic dockyard, Gunwharf Quays, Pepper Pig World, Beaulieu Motor Museum. We also have the South Downs on our doorstep. Not to mention the abundance of local pubs and restaurants. The Isle of Wight is just across the Solent via passenger and car ferry from Southampton and Portsmouth or hovercraft. The small town of Eastleigh is a short drive with a train station, Vue cinema, bowling, familiar chain restaurants. Winchester also has a train station and an Everyman cinema, and a fantastic choice of restaurants and pubs.
