it's a great neighborhood, walk down the end of the hill and you will find the picture house cinema, or walk along one of the lanes to find yourself in the independent shopping area, Fore Street. Walk up Fore Street and you will quickly be in the town centre, where you can find the cathedral and all the shops. Or come out of the house and walk around the park, down the steps and you will find the pub The mill on the Ex, great views of the river. You can follow the river down towards the historic quay. The house is so central you are able to walk to most areas in Exeter. Exeter also has a great train service for getting to Exmouth or Dawlish.
