The grassy slopes of Tankerton gently lead to the promenade, where you can enjoy a swim in the sea or witness Whitstable's renowned and stunning sunsets. For the more active, tennis courts are also available to book.
A further fifteen-minute walk past the beautiful Tankerton Castle and its gardens will bring you to the heart of Whitstable town, with its historic working harbour. Here, you can sample Whitstable's famous fresh seafood or embark on a boat trip to explore the WW2 sea forts.
