Company information

Sean Kelly - If I am not in the kitchen, you’ll often see me foraging for ingredients including a variety of mushrooms, wild fruits, herbs and berries, to add a personal touch to the Restaurant menu. I guess that now I am a company Director, I will also need to learn a bit more of how the hotel’s front of house is run rather than sticking to my kitchen comforts - so, I may see you around! Caroline Kelly - I grew accustomed to the hotel way of life before I was even born and was serving canapės by the age of 3. Having such an intense upbringing, being submerged in the hotel way of life deterred me at first, to follow in my parents’ footsteps. But, as I outgrew London with my event management job and David outgrew his first retirement – our Lovat business venture made sense because we were twinning his experience and my youth. So 10 years on and now happily married, I am still here at the hotel & excited about the next chapter to unfold!

Neighbourhood information

It rains quite a bit in Scotland so make sure you visit the impressive Falls of Foyers located around 20 minute drive away from the hotel. There are also quite few other sights and attractions around the area - feel free to discuss your possible options with our reception team.
