Lovaton Farmhouse situated on the door-step of Dartmoor, offers relaxed, child and dog friendly B&B in an 18th century farmhouse. We are a working farm, perfectly located for exploring Dartmoor and the coasts. Plenty of parking with access to electric car charger. We are close to Route 28 cycle route , though not next to a pub and have bike storage available and a large lawn for you to enjoy. The tastefully decorated rooms are warm and quiet, with a range of tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided . Smart TV in each room, along with a fridge and locks on the doors. A microwave is also available in the kitchen, should you need it. Perfect for children and babies, with lots of room to play. Perfect for families , cyclists and walkers alike, the ideal base for country walking and cycling with Dartmoor, The Granite Way, Tarka Trail, Eden Project, north and south coasts, all within an hour Comfy beds, hot showers or bubbly baths, await you at the end of you
We are a working family farm, with a range of livestock and wildlife on the farm. I love welcoming visitors to stay in our Devon farmhouse and I love to make your stay as relaxing and welcoming, as I possibly can. I can guide you to the best places to eat and visit, so that you can make the most of your stay.
The Eden Project, is an hours drive along the A30.Perfect for families and walkers alike, the ideal base for country walking and cycling, with Dartmoor, The Granite Way and the Tarka Trail all close by. Dogs are more than welcome, bowls and dog treats are provided. Chagford, Okehampton and Belstone are all within easy reach. The 'House of Marbles' and 'Hidden Valley' are within an hours drive away, if the weather is not behaving, so plenty to do without getting wet If the sun is out, then the beaches of Bude, Widemouth and Crooklets on the North Coast and Dawlish and Exmouth on the South Coast, provide the perfect day out. If you like walking there are some fantastic walks nearby, awash with Bluebells in May such as' The Deerpark', near Sandy Park or follow the River Teign from Sandy Park to Fingle Bridge, with Castle Drogo towering above you, on the side of the valley. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you like to walk on Dartmoor, then we have plenty of maps and guides you can use.
