This apartment retains its traditional Georgian feel with a modern twist. Sleeping up to 4 guests across two spacious double rooms with contemporary yet cosy decor. Each room has a small desk area, making this property ideal for both business and leisure stays. Guests are provided with a complimentary bath and a hand towel each. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower cubicle and an electric shower. The open-plan kitchen-living area boasts beautiful period features, including Georgian-style windows and a traditional fireplace. This, in combination with earth-toned decor, gives the room a cozy feel, perfect for watching your favourite streaming platforms. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils, crockery, a kettle, toaster, microwave, and basic pantry items such as oil, salt, and pepper. Whitehaven is approximately 27 miles from Keswick in the Northwest Lake District and 48 miles from Windermere and the South Lake District, making it a great base for exploring the beautiful Lake District. Although this property is ideal for holidaymakers, it would also suit those in the area for work, with local transport links to West Cumberland Hospital, Sellafield, and Westlakes Science Park. This apartment has some space for private parking, please note this area is shared with other guests, so we cannot guarantee access. However, there is also payable parking situated on the next street, around a one-minute walk from the property. Whitehaven also has accessible public transport links, with trains running from Carlisle to Barrow-in-Furness and local bus services running to other local towns.
