Lucy’s Cottage is a charming semi-detached property in Canonbie near Langholm, Dumfries and Galloway. Sleeping up to three guests, it offers two bedrooms (a super-king-size zip/link and a single), a bathroom, cloakroom, kitchen, and a cosy living/dining room with open fire. Outside, enjoy off-road parking for two cars and a garden with lawn, patio, furniture, and fishing shed. Please note: there are steps into the cottage, a wooden staircase with handrails, and the bathroom and bedrooms are upstairs. The shower has a step-in, so the property may not suit those with mobility issues. One small dog welcome (no cats). Holiday bookings only – no contractor or worker reservations. Please Note: This property is available for holiday bookings only and does not accept reservations from contractors or workers

Neighbourhood information

Langholm lies on the River Esk in Dumfries and Galloway and hosts festivals for music, food and arts. There is a Co Op, a range of pubs, eateries and the Borderlands Brewery. Within easy reach is Lockerbie, home to a good selection of bars and shopping facilities, as well as a jazz festival. A short drive away is the Kagyu Samye Ling, the first Tibetan Buddhist Centre established in the West.
